A day after President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden took part in dueling town hall events on Tuesday, both will hit the campaign trail Friday as they enter the 2020 presidential race's final stretch.Trump held several political events on Friday. Trump subsequently said he would not participate, and the debate was later canceled.Upon learning that Trump would not participate in a virtual debate, the Biden campaign reached an agreement with ABC News to hold its own town hall. The Trump campaign then struck a deal with NBC News on Wednesday to hold its own town hall event at the same time.In his town hall event, Trump often sparred with moderator Savannah Gutherie. A college student from Georiga's jail sentence was reduced from four months to two months on Tuesday in the Cayman Islands after she and her boyfriend violated strict COVID-19 measures last month.According to The New York Times and CNN, the Cayman Islands Court of Appeal reduced 18-year-old Skylar Mack and her 24-year-old boyfriend Vanjae Ramgeet's prison sentence, saying the initial sentence "was not appropriate."Last week, Mack and Ramgeet were sentenced to four months after they both violated the island's mandatory two-week quarantine.Per the Associated Press, Mack arrived on the island on Nov. 27, but on Nov. 29, she broke quarantine by leaving with her boyfriend to attend a water sports event.According to The Times, Mack and Ramgeet initially pleaded guilty to breaking the quarantine rules and were to complete 40 hours of community service. They were also fined ,100.But last week, the prosecutor appealed the ruling saying the sentences were too lenient and a judge sentenced to four months in jail.The Cayman Compass reported that Mack nor Ramgeet plan to appeal the Court of Appeal's ruling. 1121

A former student and three current students have been arrested and charged for their involvement in a prank that sent a student riding a dirt bike down a hallway at GlenOak High School in Canton, Ohio.According to officials at the Stark County Jail, all four were arrested for taking part in the prank that allowed a student to zoom through the hall on a dirt bike. The prank sent the school into a lockdown.The school said the incident has raised security concerns. One person involved, Eloy Lopes, 18, isn't a student at the school anymore."Our staff at GlenOak acted swiftly in addressing the immediate safety concerns as a result of the prank," a school representative school said in an email.Lopes was criminally charged with inducing panic with a reckless disregard for others, according to the sheriff. The sheriff's report said he was charged with criminal trespassing because he is not a current student at GlenOak. According to authorities, he held a door open for the dirt bike rider. The three students involved, a 17-year-old male and two 18-year-old males, were also arrested and charged with inducing panic with a reckless disregard for others for their involvement in the prank, according to authorities.The school has not addressed the status of the three current students, nor has it said whether or not security policies will change moving forward. 1515

A man used electronic purchase alerts from his bank on a credit card he never received, to track down an alleged crook within hours.In the early morning hours of June 21, Josh Blair noticed an alert on his Apple watch confirming a purchase he made at a nearby gas station.But Blair told KSBY he didn't spend at the gas station and, in fact, Blair said he never even received the new American Express card in the mail the purchase was made on.He decided to find out who was using his new credit card around Santa Barbara.Surveillance footage from Blair's apartment complex shows a man unlock the mailbox and withdraw the envelope containing Blair's credit card.After speaking with officials at the post office, Blair said he learned the key to the boxes was lost and the lock had not yet been replaced.Throughout the morning, a series of charges hit Blair's account, all within miles of his home. So after filing a police report, he decided to track the crook himself."I talked to a friend earlier and he said 'OK, be careful.' And I said 'I guarantee I catch him within 24 hours,'" Blair recounted. "It was actually two hours from that time, I remember. I didn't spend much time thinking about what would happen."Throughout the afternoon, Blair raced from business to business as charges appeared on his card, each time, just missing the thief.Then, Blair got a charge alert from the newly opened hotel and restaurant, so he rushed over and spoke to the bartender."He was like 'yea, I'm sure that guy was just here, he just left the bar. I believe he's staying here, let me go check,'" Blair recalled. "He did that then came back and said the guy just ran out in the parking lot. He told me where, so I ran after him and so did the bartender, he helped me out.
