Delta Airlines has added more than 400 people to its “no-fly” list during the pandemic for refusing to comply with the airline’s mask policy, according to a company memo obtained by CNN.“As of this week, we’ve added 460 people to our no-fly list for refusing to comply with our mask requirement,” Delta’s CEO, Ed Bastian, reportedly wrote in the message to employees.This is an increase of nearly 200 people in the last few months. Chairman and CEO Gary Kelly said Monday that unless the federal government gives airlines more money, Southwest will have to sharply cut spending to avoid losing billions of dollars every quarter until a coronavirus vaccine is widely available. Air travel is down nearly 70% from a year ago.“We would have to wipe out a large swath of salaries, wages and benefits to match the low traffic levels to have any hope of just breaking even,” Kelly said in a video to employees.Kelly says he won't take a base salary through 2021, and nonunion workers will face 10% pay cuts in January. There was also one sighting off the Coronado Coast around noon Wednesday.Del Mar is precisely the escape Kathleen Pierce and her family were after. “We have been suffering in the hundred-degree weather in Temecula so we thought we’d come down to the beach,” Pierce said. Dewar said if the sharks are under six feet, they are juveniles. They eat smaller fish, so they pose no threat to people. DETROIT — A bond between two 12-year-old boys is now helping a Detroit mother in her grief. After surviving two bouts with cancer, little KJ Gross' time on earth was cut short by the side effects of treatment. Now, KJ's best friend is helping his mom get some closure. KJ had defeated cancer twice in his young life, his mom San Singleton said. He had been free of the disease for six years when he landed back in the hospital from congestive heart failure."We packed up and we moved into the hospital," Singleton said. "And everything that they did for KJ thinking it would give him a better quality of life, it did the opposite."KJ would not leave the hospital again, but found support in his best friend from school, 12-year-old Kaleb Klakulak.
