SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A 40-year-old man was assaulted and nearly kidnapped during a violent home invasion overnight in South Park.The victim and his girlfriend were asleep in their home when three armed suspects forced their way into the home at about 2:30 a.m., according to San Diego Police. The group demanded the victim's car keys, but he refused to give them the keys. The group struggled with the victim and assaulted him, before taking several electronics and attempting to kidnap the man, police say.The victim continued to resist and was able to escape the group and call police. The suspects then fled the scene.Police described the suspects as three Hispanic males, all wearing dark clothing, gloves, and partially covering their head and faces. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A 55-year-old homeless man who was attacked with a skateboard while sleeping in North Park has died, San Diego Police said.Arthur Angulo was sleeping in alley in the 2800 block of El Cajon Boulevard  at around 4:30 a.m. Saturday when a man bashed him repeatedly with a skateboard, according to police.  Angulo suffered ``visible signs of major trauma to his upper body,'' San Diego police homicide Lt. Todd Griffin said.``The attack was unprovoked," officer Tony Martinez said over the weekend.RELATED: Sleeping homeless man attacked in North ParkAngulo was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where medical staff determined he would not survive and placed him on life support, Griffin said.He was removed from life support Thursday "and died in the hospital as the result of his injuries,'" Griffin said.Police said the attacker is white, about six feet tall, and between 19 and 26 years old. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A foot pursuit between police and a suspect ended in an officer-involved shooting in the Logan Heights neighborhood Monday.An officer was trying to contact a 30-year-old Hispanic male, later identified as Enrique Aguilar, at about 3:20 p.m. over what he believed to be a narcotics violation, according to San Diego Police Capt. Tom Underwood. Aguilar fled, prompting a foot pursuit in the area of 3400 National Avenue, police say.Police said during the foot pursuit, Aguilar revealed a handgun.VIDEO: Video captures officer-involved shooting in Logan HeightsPAST OIS INCIDENTS: DA releases body cam footage, reviews several officer-involved shootingsOfficers say they ordered Aguilar to drop his weapon. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the shooting death of his father inside their Scripps Ranch home.At 8:39 p.m. Sunday, San Diego police responded to a report of a shooting at a home in the 11200 block of Affinity Court, near Scripps Ranch Boulevard.10News learned the suspected shooter's brother called 911 to report the incident.Officers arrived to find a 46-year-old Vietnamese man lying on a bedroom floor with at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. After life-saving efforts by paramedics, the man -- who was not immediately identified -- was pronounced dead at the scene.Officers combed the condominium complex and nearby area for the suspected shooter, who was identified as the victim’s 15-year-old son, but could not immediately locate him. Authorities later added that the boy is a Mira Mesa High School student. At about 1 a.m. Monday, officers responded to a reported sighting on Scripps Poway Parkway and saw the boy walking down the street. He was apprehended, and 10News learned the boy had a gun and additional ammunition with him at the time of his arrest. 1133
