HAMPTON, Va. — Students and teachers across Hampton Roads are preparing to start the school year virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "The more I thought about it, the more I thought, 'Hey, if I'm going to be in my classroom, and I want there to be people around me, the best thing to do is try to emulate that in some way.'"So far, he said many friends, alumni and current students have taken part."We're used to, as teachers, having each one of those seats filled. So, as it appears those seats are filled, it makes you feel like a normal, everyday moment in class," Mingee said. HONG KONG – Hong Kong Disneyland is closing again due to COVID-19 concerns, according to multiple reports.In a statement obtained by CNN and CNBC, a Disney spokesperson said the resort will temporarily close starting on July 15.Disney says the closure is in line with COVID-19 prevention efforts that government and public health authorities are implementing across Hong Kong as the area experiences a spike in coronavirus cases.The spokesperson added that the resort’s hotels will remain open with “adjusted levels of services.”The closure comes less than a month after the park reopened to visitors on June 18 after first closing in January, when the coronavirus pandemic began in China.When the park reopened, officials implemented a list of health and safety measures, including social distancing in queues, restaurants, attraction vehicles and other facilities. Character experiences with close interaction were also suspended. And visitors were required to wear masks. The Hong Kong attraction was the second Disney-themed park to reopen worldwide, behind Shanghai Disneyland. The latest to reopen was Disney World in Orlando, Florida, over the weekend. Many are concerned about Disney World reopening as Florida continues to report major spikes in COVID-19. Just Sunday, the state shattered the national record for the largest single-day increase in positive coronavirus cases. Georgia's Republican Secretary of State says that despite voting for President Donald Trump and donating to his campaign, Trump threw him "under the bus" by attempting to overturn the results of the presidential election in the state.In an opinion piece for USA Today, Georgia Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger criticized Trump for refusing to "accept the facts" in narrowly losing the state to President-elect Joe Biden.In his opinion piece, Raffensperger noted that despite the circumstance, Georgia's elections went fairly smoothly, noting record numbers of mail-in and early voting and "minuscule" wait times on election day. But he said that all changed when Trump began publicly undermining trust in Georgia's elections."Elections are the bedrock of our democracy," Raffensperger wrote. "They need to be run fairly and, perhaps more important, impartially. That's not partisan. That's just American. Yet some don't seem to see it that way."As the head of elections in Georgia, Raffensperger has found himself at the center of attention since election day. Days after the polls closed, Raffensperger called for an unprecedented statewide audit of the presidential election in the state, which required a hand recount of election results.While the audit did find a few thousand votes for Trump that had not been previously counted, the new votes only represented a small change in the final tally. Georgia has certified its election, though the Trump campaign has filed for a machine recount of votes, which is unlikely to change the final tally.All the while, Trump has continued to cast doubt on the electoral process in the state — and Raffensperger says he's been personally pressured by fellow Republicans to find ways to exclude legally-cast ballots. He also says both he and his family have faced threats in the face of the recounts.In his piece, Raffensperger skewered both Republicans and Democrats who attempted to discredit the election process in the state."An onslaught of fake news and unrepentant disinformation threatened to tear the fabric of our country apart," he wrote. "People on both sides of the aisle generated controversies out of nowhere to stir up trouble."In particular, Raffensperger criticized Trump for "adopting the playbook" of Stacey Abrams, a Democratic gubernatorial candidate who lost out to Gov. Brian Kemp in 2018. Abrams never conceded to Kemp and only suspended her campaign after the state certified the results of the election.Raffensperger also went after Rep. Doug Collins, calling him a "failed sente candidate." According to Blissfield Golf Coach Steve Babbitt, Couling, 16, was competing in the Madison Tournament at the World Creek Golf Course in Adrian, Michigan, when terror rained down."The group just finished teeing off on hole #7 and were walking down the fairway," Babbitt told CNN in an email. "They were aware of a goose nest on their left which they were looking at but not bothering when from behind them and to the right came the guard goose (protecting the nest)."Then came a rather alarming escalation, a whole Shakespearean tragedy in three acts.
