A law class at Georgia State University will focus on the life and career of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss this upcoming semester.In a press release, the university said the singer, songwriter, actress, and entrepreneur will be the subject of Professor Mo Ivory's course of Entertainment, Sports, and Media Law Initiative, which prepares students for Georgia’s growing entertainment industry.“I chose Kandi because she has an amazing career, which spans every aspect of the entertainment industry from music, television, and live performance to licensing, apparel, and more,” Ivory said in the news release. “I wanted to study a woman this time around, and having worked with Kandi in the past, I knew she was the perfect choice. A Bulgarian man has been detained in Germany over the killing of journalist Viktoria Marinova, Bulgarian Interior Minister Mladen Marinov said Wednesday.Authorities cannot yet say whether or not Marinova's murder in the northern Bulgarian city of Ruse was linked to her work as a broadcast journalist, according to Bulgarian Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov.The man has been charged in his absence with rape and murder, Tsatsarov said.A European arrest warrant was issued for the Bulgarian man after his DNA matched evidence collected from the crime scene, Marinov told a news conference.A spokeswoman for the Interior Ministry told CNN the 21-year-old suspect had been arrested close to the northern German city of Hamburg.Bulgarian authorities are requesting his extradition, she said. A Canadian judge who wore a "Make America Great Again" baseball cap in his courtroom has been suspended for 30 days without pay.A panel investigated complaints made about Ontario Justice Bernd Zabel stemming from an incident in November of 2016. The panel found that the judge wore the baseball cap into his courtroom, made comments about the U.S. presidential election, and also commented on his political views, as well as those of other judges. The panel also found that when the judge gave a public statement about that day in court, his comments were not consistent with what had happened.The panel hearing was held August 23, and the panel received 81 letters of complaint. Panel members also reviewed a number of other items, including an Agreed Statement of Facts, in which Judge Zabel admitted he "engaged in judicial misconduct." On September 11, 2017, the panel determined there was judicial misconduct, and suspended the judge for 30 days without pay. It's the most serious sanction permitted by law short of removing the judge from office.  1091
