(CNN) -- Jollibee, the Philippines' largest fast food chain, is taking a big step to expand its business internationally.The company said it plans to acquire California-based Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which has nearly 1,200 stores across more than 25 countries. The brand's cafes serve brewed coffee and sweet blended drinks like chocolate cookie lattes and frozen mango sunrise ice blended tea.Jollibee wants to focus on growing the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf brand in Asia. In a press release, Jollibee's Chairman Tony Tan Caktiong said the deal will enable the company to "become an important player in the large, fast growing and profitable coffee business."Starbucks and Luckin Coffee have also been expanding their Asian businesses. (KGTV) — As a caravan of migrants from Honduras marches through Mexico, participants have said they are determined to press on to Tijuana.The caravan has also drawn daily discussions among U.S. leaders as to how to deal with the incoming group, who have said they plan to apply for asylum.It's not clear how close the caravan will be when Election Day rolls around on Nov. 6, but the group's journey is expected to play a large part in the elections.RELATED: As many as 15,000 troops to be deployed to borderThe caravan has said they fled Honduras because of the state of employment, quality of life, and the threat of crime they are faced with in the country — similar to a caravan which came to the U.S.-Mexico border in Tijuana in April.Here is a look at the caravan and actions by U.S. leaders since the group's journey began in October:Oct. 13 — Migrant caravan forms in the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula and begins to head north.Oct. 15 — The caravan arrives at the Guatemala-Honduran border, facing a blockade by local police for nearly two hours. (KGTV and AP) -- A Coronado parachutist jumped out of a plane over Normandy Wednesday, just as soldiers did 75 years ago, according to the Associated Press. The parachutists were honoring the airborne soldiers who jumped into gunfire ahead of the June 6 1944 seaborne invasion. 97-year-old D-Day veteran Tom Rice was among the paratroopers who leapt out of planes that day. According to the Associated Press, Rice jumped in tandem Wednesday into roughly the same area he landed on D-Day. “It went perfect, perfect jump,” Rice said following the jump. “I feel great. I’d go up and do it again.”On D-Day, Rice jumped with the 101st Airborne Division, landing safely despite catching himself on the exit and a bullet hitting his parachute. Rice flew down Wednesday with the stars and stripes flag beneath him, landing with loud applause. Other parachutists jumped with World War II souvenirs, some of which were worn by their grandfathers into battle. Rice said following the jump that he feels he represents a whole generation. (KGTV) — Disneyland and California Adventure have announced that both theme parks will close starting Saturday through the end of March amid the coronavirus outbreak.While there have been no reported cases at either theme park, both locations were being closed "in the best interest of our guests and employees," following Gov.
