That same friend observed JJ's behavior and noted that it was the same as she had always seen him.TIMELINE: Investigation into Lori Daybell, disappearance of JJ Vallow and Tylee RyanCourt documents also state that GPS tracking put Lori Daybell's brother, Alex Cox, on Chad Daybell's property near the burial sites on Sept. 9 — one day after JJ and Tylee was last seen.Cox later died on Dec. 11. Authorities have since determined Cox's death was of natural causes.On the day officers searched Chad Daybell's home on June 9, he was seen observing officers conduct the search. When officers found the remains, he attempted to drive away and was later caught.Both Lori and Chad Daybell are now behind bars. EL CAJON (CNS) - A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed in El Cajon, authorities said Friday morning.Officers responded to the intersection of Washington and South Orange avenues about 11 p.m. Thursday, where they found a woman in her 50s with significant head injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Lt. Jeremiah Larson of the El Cajon Police Department.An investigation determined the woman was crossing the road when she was struck by the vehicle traveling westbound on Washington Avenue, Larson said. It was unclear whether the woman was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash.Alcohol or drugs were not considered factors in the crash, he said, but no other details were released.The name of the victim was not disclosed. 771

(KGTV) - An El Cajon company has big plans to make small scale recycling a part of people's daily shopping routines.One Earth Recycling will open 100 shipping container recycling locations over the next five years. They plan to put them in shopping centers and other high-traffic areas. The idea is to make it easier to get to a recycling center, rather than making people drive to industrial areas or other parts of town to redeem their deposits."I think for the vast majority of consumers, they don't know where to go to get their money back or to recycle responsibly, or they assume it's more trouble than it's worth to recycle," says Josh Turchin, the owner of One Earth Recycling.A recent report from Consumer Watchdog backs up the notion that people aren't willing to search for redemption centers. The report says around 40% of California's recycling centers have closed in the last five years. Meanwhile, Californians have left at least 0 million on the table by not returning their bottles and cans for deposit refunds.Turchin says making it easier will solve that problem.
