The Trump campaign has dropped a lawsuit in Arizona in which they were requesting a review of ballots cast on Election Day.The lawsuit was filed Saturday and claimed some voters were worried their ballots didn’t count correctly if the machines classified a race as “overvoted”, where more than one selection was made by mistake.A judge in Phoenix held a six-hour evidentiary hearing Thursday in the case. Later that night, CNN reports, the lawyer for the Trump campaign revised their earlier request and said they would only seek a review of vote counts if the number of “overvotes” exceeded the margin of victory.In paperwork filed with the court Friday morning, the secretary of state and officials with Maricopa County noted that the difference in votes between President-elect Joe Biden and President Donald Trump is 11,414 votes, with 10,315 ballots left to be counted.They also said 191 votes classified as “overvotes” in the presidential race, and they said that number is consistent with previous elections.Friday, lawyers for President Trump’s reelection campaign dropped the lawsuit, filing a notice of “partial mootness” with the court."Since the close of yesterday's hearing, the tabulation of votes statewide has rendered unnecessary a judicial ruling as to the presidential electors," wrote Kory Langhofer, a lawyer for the Trump campaign, in court papers. The US Office of Special Counsel announced Tuesday that White House aide Kellyanne Conway violated the Hatch Act on two occasions by "advocating for and against candidates" in last year's Alabama Senate special election.In a new report, the OSC special counsel, Henry Kerner, pointed to Conway's TV interviews conducted in her "official capacity" in November and December of last year. The agency said Conway "impermissibly mixed official government business with political views about candidates in the Alabama special election."One of the two interviews was on CNN's "New Day," and the second was on Fox News' "Fox & Friends."In a letter to President Donald Trump, Kerner said he is referring her violations for the President's "consideration of appropriate disciplinary action."The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.During the "Fox & Friends" interview November 20, Conway was introduced by the show's hosts as a "counselor to President Trump" and spoke from White House grounds. She said about Democratic Senate candidate Doug Jones: "Folks, don't be fooled. He'll be a vote against tax cuts. He's weak on crime, weak on borders. He's strong on raising your taxes. The Scripps National Spelling Bee is welcoming applicants for its second year of RSVBee, the invitational program that creates more opportunities for champion spellers to compete in the national finals in National Harbor, Maryland.Last year, more than 230 students competed in the national finals through RSVBee, including the 2018 Champion, Karthik Nemmani, from McKinney, Texas.To be eligible, students must attend a school that is enrolled in the Scripps National Spelling Bee program and be a school or community spelling champion during the 2018-19 school year. Students who previously competed in the national finals also are eligible to apply. The Sarasota (Fla.) County School District confirmed they are looking into a racially offensive promposal that was posted to social media.A spokesperson for the district confirmed the Riverview High School senior posted a picture that they worry will be a disruptor to the school and student safety. The post made to Snapchat reads, "If I was Black I'd be picking cotton, but I'm white so I'm picking U 4 Prom?"The district said they have not concluded if the 18-year-old will be banned from prom as it's an ongoing investigation. Sarasota County Schools also said they sent a text alert to parents Monday morning about the situation and that they plan to have more information late Monday. The student, who Scripps station WFTS in Tampa is not identifying, also posted an apology to social media. The following message was sent to parents and students on Monday morning:  930
