SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police have arrested the man they say tried to sexually assault a woman at gunpoint inside a restroom at the Hilton in Old Town Tuesday.According to police, Jason Lee Jones, 31, was arrested and booked into jail for one count of assault with intent to commit a sexual offense.Jones was also arrested for an active parole warrant. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Raids are expected to begin across the country this weekend targeting undocumented immigrants with deportation orders.According to the New York Times, ICE agents will target some 2,000 who have deportation orders in at least ten cities. The raids will include "collateral" deportations, meaning undocumented immigrants at the scene may also be detained."There is definitely fear," said Benjamin Prado, a member of the 38-year-old group Union Del Barrio. This weekend, the group will be sending out an unspecified number of patrols in various communities. Prado showed 10News a video recorded by the group on Thursday morning. In it, a tip from neighbors in City Heights led them to two vehicles believed to being driven by ICE agents. The group in turn informed people through different means, including social media posts about the presence of the agents.Another group taking action is the Council on American-Islamic Relations. On Thursday morning, national CAIR reissued a community advisory ahead of the impending raids."When you're stressed the first thing you forget is your rights," said Aleena Jun Nawabi, who heads outreach for CAIR San Diego.In the advisory, CAIR officials emphasize rights, including not having to open the front door unless there's a warrant.Those rights are also highlighted in cards and handouts that will be given out by Union Del Barrio. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Point Loma families fighting to preserve a makeshift bike track are up against another setback.The land is owned by the San Diego Housing Commission, which recently hired an independent firm to do a feasibility study of the property. The firm looked at traffic, environmental factors, and the impact on schools; ultimately concluding it's feasible to build on the site. "Definitely heartbroken, this is such a special spot for our community," said Darren Miller, who often brings his boys to ride on the track. But Rick Gentry, President and CEO of the San Diego Housing Commission, says it's their job to create as much affordable housing in the city as possible. There are currently 80,000 people waiting for a Section 8 Housing Voucher. "The neighbors don't like to see the neighborhoods change, but change is going to happen, growth is going to occur. San Diego now is not producing enough housing to keep up with the rate of growth of the population," said Gentry. Miller and other neighbors have serious concerns about building on the land. "I don't know if they're necessarily opposed to affordable housing, I think they're just opposed to more development in an area that's already over-developed. In addition to just being an open space, it's a wetland," said Miller. The Housing Commission will be seeking developers for the project. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are investigating after a teenager was shot in San Diego’s Linda Vista neighborhood Thursday afternoon. According to police, a 17-year-old boy was walking with a 16-year-old girl near the 6900 block of Linda Vista Road around 12:30 p.m. Police say a silver sedan pulled up beside the pair and someone inside shot the 17-year-old in the stomach. The teen suffered minor injuries, according to police, who said he was uncooperative.Police say, during the shooting, the teens ducked behind a car in the area. The vehicle was heavily damaged. San Diego Police say officers searched a neighborhood near Tecolote Canyon for the suspect. Witnesses stated they saw five men driving away in a gray or light colored vehicle. 750
