President Donald Trump signaled Tuesday that he will not take strong action against Saudi Arabia or its Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the death and dismemberment of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The White House has been struggling to square a widespread sense that the crown prince directed the killing with its desire for Saudi support for its foreign policy priorities and a need to manage close relationships between bin Salman and the Trump administration. In an exclamation-mark laden statement subtitled "America First!" Trump said that "our intelligence agencies continue to assess all information, but it could very well be that the Crown Prince had knowledge of this tragic event -- maybe he did and maybe he didn't!""That being said," Trump continued, "we may never know all of the facts surrounding the murder of Mr. Jamal Khashoggi. In any case, our relationship is with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They have been a great ally in our very important fight against Iran."Trump is expected to receive a CIA assessment on Khashoggi's murder today.A senior administration official told CNN that the report, delivered in physical form, is an assessment of all the intelligence gathered so far, but will not present a final conclusion. That's in keeping with intelligence community practice: agencies assign a confidence level to their findings because intelligence isn't conclusive. And though sources tell CNN that the CIA has assessed with high confidence that the prince directed Khashoggi's murder, which was conducted by members of the prince's inner circle, the fact that they don't make a final conclusion gives the White House an out.The report comes seven weeks after the father of four entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2 to seek marriage documents. This story is breaking and will be updated. 1852

RAMONA (KGTV) - Seven acres burned in a brush fire near downtown Ramona Saturday, according to CalFire. At 6 p.m. Cal Fire PIO Issac Sanchez said the fire was 20% contained. The fire burned near Montecito Road and North Ramona Street.Hundreds of neighbors were evacuated from the Ramona Mountain Valley Apartments, where the fire burned right up to their fence. Juliette Farey, a mother and resident at the complex said she was coming back from her son's birthday party and when she saw the smoke, she knew her home was at risk."We were scared for our lives," she said.Farey said the unruly gold bushes on the other side of the fence were out of control, and wished they would be better maintained to keep a fire from happening in the future.Sanchez said the fire started with a pile of debris in the riverbed then spread to nearby grass. Sixty-five fire fighters responded, working to protect neighbors, two planes and a helicopter also jumped into action to help. Farey believes homeless who live in the riverbed started the fire, saying the high rent is to blame. "They probably lit a fire in the river bottom to stay warm," she said.Other residents were terrified, saying they've never experienced a scare like this."There was just this wall of smoke. I grabbed our animals and my daughters," Angelina Rios said police banged on their door urging them to get out and that's when they saw the wall of smoke steps away. Her daughter Destiny Minjares described the fear gripping her and her neighbors, that turned to excitement as a helicopter soared just over their heads dropping water.Destiny said they got splashed and everyone cheered after the successful maneuver, a feeling that quickly faded as they saw the fire was still raging nearby.Firefighters got a handle on the fire around 6 p.m. The evacuations have been lifted. All road closures have been lifted as well. Firefighters are expected to be at the scene for several hours. This is a developing story. 10News will update as details become available.  2101

President Trump and Tony Soprano have the same taste in music, according to "Saturday Night Live."The NBC variety show opened its season finale on Saturday night with Alec Baldwin's Donald Trump sitting alone in a New Jersey diner. The faux president put a coin in his table's jukebox and suddenly "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey began to play.Viewers at home have seen this scene before if they watched the series finale of HBO's acclaimed series, "The Sopranos." For the HBO's drama's finale, the titular character and New Jersey mob boss, Tony, plays the song as his family meets him for dinner."SNL" followed the iconic scene beat for beat with Baldwin's Trump being joined by his own "family." First was Kate McKinnon's Rudy Giuliani."So Rudy, did you go on Fox News last night?" Baldwin's Trump asked."Yeah, like 20 times," McKinnon's Giuliani responded. "Don't worry, I told them that you were openly colluding with Russia but ended with, 'SO WHAT?!'"Ben Stiller's Michael Cohen then joined the table and was asked how his day at work was."Really bad," Stiller's Cohen said. "Mostly just preparing to go to jail and stuff."Then Mikey Day's Donald Trump Jr. sat down and explained that Alex Moffat's Eric Trump was outside trying to "parallel park" his big wheel to no success. The nice dinner was going well for everyone until Robert De Niro's Robert Mueller appeared and sat alone at a different table."Am I the only one that sees that guy?" Baldwin's Trump said referencing Mueller. On his way to the bathroom, De Niro's Mueller gave Baldwin's Trump a quiet stare down leaving Trump to look frightened into the camera before, just like in "The Sopranos" finale, the scene immediately cut to black. Then the cast reappeared and said the show's catch phrase, "Live from New York... It's Saturday Night!" 1817

President Donald Trump, after listening to a series of emotional stories and pleas to enhance school safety at the White House Wednesday, floated the idea of arming teachers and school staff, an idea that was met with support from many of the attendees."If you had a teacher who was adept with the firearm, they could end the attack very quickly," he said, stating that schools could arm up to 20% of their teachers to stop "maniacs" who may try and attack them."This would be obviously only for people who were very adept at handling a gun, and it would be, it's called concealed carry, where a teacher would have a concealed gun on them. They'd go for special training and they would be there and you would no longer have a gun-free zone," Trump said. "Gun-free zone to a maniac -- because they're all cowards -- a gun-free zone is 'let's go in and let's attack because bullets aren't coming back at us.' "  922
