COSTA MESA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Korean-made vehicles rank at the top of the list for quality in 2019 while many other brands haven't improved, according to a new report by J.D. Power. The report also found that problems with driver assistance systems are increasing as the advance systems become more common. Overall, the highest-ranking brands include Genesis, Kia and Hyundai, which are all produced by Korean manufacturer Hyundai Motor Group. According to the report, all European brands fell below average for quality, especially falling behind in infotainment and electronic categories. Court documents show the white St. Louis couple who became internationally famous for standing guard with guns outside their mansion during a protest have pulled a weapon before in defense of their property. As demonstrators marched near the home of Mark and Patricia McCloskey on Sunday, video posted online showed him wielding a long-barreled gun and her with a small handgun. The McCloskeys and the trustees of Portland Place are involved in a legal dispute over a small piece of property. Mark McCloskey says in an affidavit in that case that they once pulled a gun on a trespasser. 594

(KGTV) San Diego Police Department is investigating a car meet-up that turned into brief reckless driving exhibition in Clairemont.Viewer video shows several cars doing donuts and burnouts for hundreds of spectators at in major shopping center off Balboa Ave from Friday night.The drivers almost hit people trying to film them and almost crash into fences on the property.Those who attended say the meet-up was organized through private social media accounts.“It’s scary because it starts right next to you and it happens with like a flick of a switch,” said one gearhead who wants to remain anonymous to protect his identity.An SDPD officer is shown responding to the incident in the video and appears to be harassed by the crowd.“People were throwing trash at him and there was a lot of middle fingers that were thrown up,” said another car enthusiast who was the event, “I thought the cop was going to get attacked.”The anonymous gearheads say what happened Friday night is not indicative of car culture and they were upset with how people treated the officer.“I’ve been to multiple meets where… we get to look at some nice cars but then there’s meet’s like this that get out a hand and then cause a horrible image for us,” said the anonymous attendee.SDPD has not clarified if any arrests were made during the incident. 1375

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Body camera videos from the two police officers sent to investigate a 911 call from a teenager trapped inside a mini-van in a school parking lot don't show the officers exit their patrol car.The two videos show about three minutes of the search for Kyle Plush from two different perspectives. Police previously said the officers spent about 11 minutes searching. Plush's gold Honda Odyssey is not visible in the video.Plush, 16, called 911 twice on the afternoon of April 10. Officers Edsel Osborn and Brian Brazile, riding double as Unit 2232, responded to the school after his first call.Police said the officers didn't find anything, and received no answer when they tried calling Plush. The body camera videos, which police released Friday in response to a public records request, show the officers driving around a parking lot, but never getting out of their vehicle.The videos show the officers turn into the parking lot south of the Seven Hills School Resale Shop. Plush's van was parked in the lot north of the shop, on the same side of Red Bank Road. Cyntoia Brown was just 16 years old when she shot and killed a man whom she said had bought her for sex. Now, 14 years later, she could have a shot at getting out of prison.  Brown was convicted of murder after she shot and killed 43-year old realtor Johnny Allen in 2004. Her lawyers said she was a victim of sex trafficking.Now 30, Brown has a clemency hearing at 10 a.m. local time Wednesday. A state parole board will listen to her case and make a recommendation about whether to grant her clemency. The story sparked national outrage last year after several celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Rihanna, posted Brown's story on Twitter and Instagram. Her attorneys said Brown had been forced into prostitution and that had Allen paid her for sex. 784
