Slowly but steadily, caravan migrants who trekked across Mexico are pleading their cases to US authorities on why they should be granted asylum.Nearly half of them have now been accepted to begin processing by US authorities at the border with Mexico, Alex Mensing -- whose group, Pueblo Sin Fronteras, organized the caravan -- said Wednesday.Caravan organizers said 49 Central American migrants began asylum processing on Wednesday, bringing the total of those accepted for processing to 74.On Tuesday, 17 Central American migrants were taken in by US Customs and Border Protection (CPB) for asylum processing, said Viridiana Vidal, whose group Pueblo Sin Fronteras organized the caravan.The group was predominately made up of mothers and their children.However, CPB says it processed 28 between Monday and Tuesday. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he spoke with President Donald Trump from Vietnam about the Roy Moore situation, and will have "further discussions" with him when the President returns.McConnell said he believes the women who say that Moore pursued relationships with them when they were teenagers and while he was in his 30s. One woman said she was 14 years old when Moore initiated sexual contact with her. On Monday, a separate Alabama women alleged Moore sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager, and described her experience at a news conference, represented by attorney Gloria Allred."There's no question that there's a deep concern here," McConnell said Tuesday afternoon. "Roy Moore should step aside, the women who've come forward are entirely credible."Republicans across Congress have urged the GOP Alabama Senate nominee to abandon his bid, but he has shown no signs that he plans to drop out of the race. (KGTV) - A beloved monitor lizard that slinked away from an East County pet store has been found."Bubbles," a six-year-old black-throated monitor lizard, disappeared from Mike's Pets in Spring Valley on Sunday, according to the store's owner Mike Estevez.Security camera footage inside the store captured Bubbles slip away out a back door and the cage propped against the open entrance.RELATED: Beloved lizard missing from Spring Valley pet storeEstevez told 10News that Bubbles was found Thursday by a volunteer searcher from Los Angeles. JOSEPH, Mo. — The St. Joseph Police Department (SJPD) is investigating after a woman found a bomb on her front porch.Alexis Washington was up late with her newborn daughter and young son when she heard a loud pop and saw a flash of red light. When she came outside to check it out, she found the bomb on her porch."The cop told me then that the propane tank was leaking, there was ammunition on top of it with a paper towel that was lit on fire," Washington said. "A bomb? I just don't understand, like a bomb? You can't fight that. That's why it's just like you've got to go. I got to go."SJPD Cpt. Jeff Wilson said the bomb was definitely homemade.
