"Orbit is a great product, but it does contain xylitol."Within a half-hour, he said, your dog's blood sugar will start to plummet."They can be lethargic. They can collapse. They can even have seizures," Byers said.So it's essential for all dog owners to check labels, he said."I think it's awful," Lovely said. (KGTV) — A man was killed Thursday after a tree branch broke free and struck him in Valley Center.A 54-year-old man was walking in 31000 block of Oak Glen Rd. just before 5 p.m. when a large eucalyptus tree branch broke loose and fell on him, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department.Deputies and fire officials responded to provide medical aid, but the man's injuries were fatal and he died at the scene.Authorities did not reveal the man's identity. 488
