LOUIS (AP) — The son of the owner of a St. Louis-area soul food restaurant that was the setting for the reality show "Welcome to Sweetie Pie's" has been charged in a murder-for-hire plot that resulted in the death of his nephew four years ago. The show aired for five seasons on the OWN Network, according to Oprah.com.James Timothy Norman, of Jackson, Mississippi, was arrested Tuesday for the March 14, 2016, fatal shooting of his nephew Andre Montgomery, who was gunned down near a park in St. Louis.Norman, the 41-year-old son of Sweetie Pie's owner Robbie Montgomery, faces a federal charge in St. Louis of conspiring to use interstate commerce facilities in the commission of a murder-for-hire, resulting in death. Prosecutors say Norman conspired with Terica Ellis, of Memphis, Tennessee, in the killing.According to a news release by the US Attorney's Office Eastern District of Missouri, Norman took out a 0,000 life insurance policy on Montgomery and listed himself as the sole beneficiary.A week after Montgomery's death, Norman contacted the life insurance company in an attempt to collect on the life insurance policy, prosecutors said."Ellis’s phone location information places her in the vicinity of the murder at the time of the homicide," prosecutors said in the press release. "Immediately following Montgomery’s murder, Ellis placed a call to Norman and then began traveling to Memphis, Tennessee." 1432

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A Florida woman was arrested on Sunday after police say she stripped naked and ran around at a public park because she believed a giant spider was on her and she had to get away from it. St. Petersburg Police arrested 40-year-old Danielle Teeples on Sunday at Bartlett Park around 2:15 p.m. Police say that Teeples was completely nude and that there were numerous people in the park at the time of the incident. Police say that traffic on 4th Street South was heavy at the time of the incident and that numerous vehicles were slowing and honking at Teeples as they saw her behavior. According to an arrest report, Teeples was "acting erratically and rubbing her hair and breasts while screaming and running between two trees."St. Pete Police say Teeples initially refused to get dressed after police contacted her. Post Miranda, police say that Teeples admitted to recently using drugs such as crack cocaine, spice and crystal meth. She also said that she believed a giant spider was on her and she had to get away from it.Teeples was arrested and charged with exposure of sexual organs.  1164

Six Flags says it will pause its paid advertisements on social media platforms to ensure the platforms are devoid of hate speech and harmful content.Six Flags joins numerous companies who have also paused their ads for similar reasons, including Starbucks, Unilever, the European consumer-goods giant; Coca-Cola; Verizon and dozens of smaller companies.The company says it will take time to reassess internal policies and re-evaluate external partners.Last week, facing mounting pressure from advertisers, Facebook said they would flag all “newsworthy” posts from politicians that break its rules, including those from President Donald Trump. CEO Mark Zuckerberg had previously refused to take action against Trump posts suggesting that mail-in ballots will lead to voter fraud. Facebook will also ban false claims intended to discourage voting, such as stories about federal agents checking legal status at polling places. The company also said it is increasing its enforcement capacity to remove false claims about local polling conditions in the 72 hours before the U.S. election. 1091
