(CNN) — Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested Friday for assault, according to New York police.NYPD Lieutenant John Grimpel told CNN the incident occurred on 10th Street in Manhattan.The Associated Press reports that Baldwin allegedly punched someone during a dispute over a New York City parking spot.Baldwin is being held at the 6th precinct, Grimpel said.In addition to portraying president Donald Trump on "Saturday Night Live," Baldwin currently hosts a Sunday talk show on ABC, called "The Alec Baldwin Show."A representative for Baldwin has not yet responded to CNN's request for comment.Story developing...The-CNN-Wire 638

 Willie Mays once said that no one could hit a baseball further than Willie McCovey. That is high praise from the former MLB Home Run King. On Wednesday, McCovey died peacefully at his home at the age of 80, the San Francisco Giants announced. McCovey was the 11th player in MLB history to join the 500 Home Run Club, and the second member of the Giants to join the club following Mays. McCovey hit 521 home runs in his 21-year career, which ended in 1980. In 1986, McCovey was inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame after being selected on his first ballot. "Baseball has lost a giant, in every sense of the word, with Willie McCovey's passing this afternoon," Hall of Fame President Jeff Idelson said in a statement. "There wasn't a batter more feared by opposing pitchers than Willie Mac, who hit 521 mammoth home runs during a dominating 22-year career that included 19 seasons in a Giants uniform." 945

 President Donald Trump's legal team is preparing answers to written questions provided by special counsel Robert Mueller, according to sources familiar with the matter.The move represents a major development after months of negotiations and signals that the Mueller investigation could be entering a final phase with regard to the President.The questions are focused on matters related to the investigation of possible collusion between Trump associates and Russians seeking to meddle in the 2016 election, the sources said. Trump's lawyers are preparing written responses, in part relying on documents previously provided to the special counsel, the sources said."We are in continuing discussions with the special counsel and we do not comment on those discussions," said Trump attorney Jay Sekulow.There may be more rounds of questions after the first answers are returned. He was on his normal route, making his normal deliveries. But in an instant, Romulo Ruiz's life changed forever. "Those brackets are holding my bones together," Ruiz said in Spanish. He went from totally healthy to bedridden after a horrific workplace accident. On September 12, 2019, the mail carrier was in National City, standing behind his truck. A man suffering a seizure behind the wheel struck Ruiz and pinned him against his vehicle. The wheels behind Ruiz continued to turn until witnesses stopped the car. "We got into the other car, and put it into reverse so we can release the USPS man, and he just fell to the ground," witness Mohammed Farha said. Then they cared for Ruiz until emergency crews took him to the hospital. Two weeks later, Ruiz is at UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest, recovering from his severe injuries. "The plan is, the doctors will place brackets inside my legs rather than have them outside," Ruiz said, pointing at his legs.Doctors said the road to recovery would be a long and tough one.
