SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The search is on for three teenagers that held a man at gunpoint then stole his car in Paradise Hills.According to San Diego police, the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at the victim's apartment complex on Doriana Street.Police believe the carjacking happened just minutes after the same teenagers attempted, but failed, to carjack another man near the intersection of Alta View and Potomac, a few blocks away.The victim suffered a minor injuries to the head and is expected to be OK.Police say the three teens are believed to be between the ages of 16-18. They sped off in the victim's gray Honda and are still on the loose.Detailed descriptions of the teens and a license plate number for the stolen car were not immediately released. 778

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The San Diego FBI is asking for information on an image, which it says may help lead to the identification and rescue of child victims.One of the images shared to the FBI’s Twitter page shows a piece of clothing that appears to depict a cartoon character on a broomstick. The FBI also shared a PDF with more images in an effort to dig up information. See the attachment below for other photos:The agency says it uses image analysis to identify clues as to where a child may be held.“By recognizing these clues and/or sharing additional observations from the backgrounds of these images, you may help first to identify and rescue the child victim(s) and second to capture the perpetrator,” the agency said.“There is no clue or piece of information too small,” the agency added.Anyone with information is asked to call their local FBI office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The trial started Wednesday for two San Diego County Sheriff’s deputies facing criminal charges after an arrest in Vista. Deputies Nicholas Morgan and Joshua Nahan are charged with assault for what District Attorney Summer Stephan calls illegal actions during the encounter. Gerardo Martinez Jr. and his father were taken into custody last May after the deputies responded to a domestic violence call. Part of the 911 call was played for jurors during opening statements Tuesday. The panel also saw cell phone video of the arrest recorded by a neighbor. The now-viral video shows Deputy Nahan push Martinez Sr. into a fence while handcuffed. Martinez Jr. was repeatedly struck in the head by Deputy Morgan while on a concrete sidewalk. “Law enforcement officers hold a position of trust in our community and are required to abide by the rules in the exercise of their powers. The evidence on which the charges are based shows the force used by the two deputies exceeded the legal line, violating that public trust. For justice to thrive, it is important that no one is above the law,” Stephan said in November. San Diego (KGTV) - The remains of a Marine who was killed in a helicopter crash were brought back to San Diego Saturday night in a military procession.The body of 33-year-old Gunnery Sgt. Derik Holley was flown to Lindbergh Field then driven to Greenwood Mortuary.He was killed on April 3rd during a training exercise near El Centro when his helicopter crashed.Lance Cpl. Taylor J. Conrad, 1st Lt. Samuel D. Phillips and Capt. Samuel A. Schultz were also killed.A memorial service has been scheduled on Tuesday at MCAS Miramar. 535
