GENEVA, May 3 (Xinhua) -- Roughly half to three quarters of adults aged between 18 to 65 years have had headache in the last year, a prevalent problem that went under-treated, the Geneva based World Health Organization (WHO) said in a report issued Tuesday.The report, named "Of Headache Disorders and Resources in the World 2011," regarded headache disorders as one of the most prevalent disorders of mankind.WHO estimated over 10 percent of the adult population suffered from migraine, and 1.7 to 4 percent of them were troubled frequently by headache on 15 or more days every month.Among all cases studied, the report said, on average only 10 percent were treated by neurologists, and the rates were even lower in Africa and South-East Asia.Three types of headache disorders were underlined as the most frequently seen, including migraine, tension-type headache and that caused by medication-overuse.The report concluded that given the very high indirect costs of headache, investment in health care related to headache treatment might be overall cost-saving to society.

SAN FRANCISCO, April 20 (Xinhua) -- Apple Inc. on Wednesday reported record second fiscal quarter results that blow out analysts'expectations, citing strong demands for its products.For its fiscal 2011 second quarter ended on March 26, Apple posted net income of 5.99 billion U.S dollars or 6.4 dollars per share, compared with 3.07 billion, or 3.33 dollars per share a year ago. Its revenue reached 24.67 billion dollars, compare with 13.5 billion in the same period a year earlier.Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters gave an average estimate of 5.35 dollars earning per share on revenue of 23.3 billion."With quarterly revenue growth of 83 percent and profit growth of 95 percent, we're firing on all cylinders," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "We will continue to innovate on all fronts throughout the remainder of the year."As the most valuable business for the company, Apple sold 18.65 million iPhones in the second quarter, representing 113 percent unit growth over the year-ago quarter. LUQA, Malta, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- A chartered plane of China Eastern Airlines carrying 272 Chinese evacuees from Libya left Malta for Shanghai on Saturday.The Airbus A330-300 plane took off at 8:20 p.m. local time ( 1920 GMT) from the Malta International Airport, to be followed shortly by another chartered plane of China Eastern Airlines with 278 Chinese evacuees on board.The 550-strong Chinese nationals from a Chinese construction company were among a total of 2,216 people who arrived by a ship from violence-torn Libya at the Grand Harbor in Valletta, capital of Malta, on Saturday.In addition to the 2,216 Chinese nationals, the ship chartered by the Chinese embassy in Malta also carried dozens of citizens of other countries.The vessel, which was the first Maltese ship chartered by the Chinese government to evacuate Chinese nationals, left Libya's Benghazi on Friday.Maltese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tonio Borg, who went aboard the ship, expressed gratitude to the Chinese government for helping to evacuate some Maltese nationals from Libya.Chinese Ambassador to Malta Zhang Keyuan also thanked the Maltese government for its cooperation in the evacuation of Chinese nationals.A 19-day-old baby was among the evacuated Chinese, said a source with the Chinese embassy.China Eastern Airlines will fly four planes every day to the Mediterranean island nation from Feb. 28 to March 10, as part of all-round airborne evacuation missions aimed at taking stranded Chinese citizens back home as soon as possible, according to information from an emergency meeting of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) in Beijing on Saturday.
