China will open up at a higher level, promote our equipment, technologies, standards and services around the world, and ease market access in finance, education, health care, old-age care and other fields. As we open up even wider, we would be happy to see CEE countries share in the dividends of China's prosperity and development.

The two countries also need to boost people-to-people exchanges in such areas as education, culture, health, tourism, youth and media, so as to gain more public support for the China-Zimbabwe friendship, Xi added.

The president said the Chinese economy is predicted to grow about 7 percent this year, which will continue to contribute about one third of global growth.

The two countries should also forge cooperation in personnel training in order to prepare for major coopertion project of mutual interest in terms of necessary human resources and technology, he said.
