(KGTV) - A fraternity at San Diego State has been placed under interim suspension after a freshman membered was injured.The mother of the student told 10News he suffered a concussion, as well as a fractured wrist, sprained ankle, and bruises on his back.It’s unclear exactly when or how the injuries occurred, but the student’s mom said he had been at an event at the Kappa Alpha fraternity house on Wednesday, October 17. SAN DIEGO (KGTV)- Business owners across San Diego County were bracing for the possibility of shifting back into the most restrictive purple tier Tuesday.The county barely avoided the move and can stay in the red tier for now.“The up and down is very difficult to run any business without having any known information about what the future brings,” said Scott Lutwak, CEO of Fit Athletic Club, which has five locations in the county. “It’s been just a rollercoaster of open and close again.”If the county had to move back into the purple tier, gyms and fitness centers would have to go back to outdoor operations only.“It’s not easy to just move all the equipment that you had inside and move it into your parking lot and create a gym,” he said.Under the red tier, they can operate inside at 10 percent capacity. Lutwak said that’s still just not enough.“This number has been a very difficult number for our industry to digest because we simply cannot operate at 10 percent of our capacity.”Restaurants were also set to move back outside if we hit the purple tier. SAN DIEGO (KGTV/CNS) - A San Diego mom is hoping the county's new plan to provide more affordable housing will help keep her off the street. Leticia Rodriguez, her mom, and two kids have been living in Rodriguez's van the last several months, but right now the van is in the shop. They're hoping to get into the San Diego Rescue Mission. It would be their first time sleeping at a shelter."You have to come back at  5 ' o'clock and line up and you know, wait to get in, every day, until you get a bed," said Rodriguez. Rodriguez makes  an hour as a team leader at Jack N' The Box. She's been looking for a place she can afford for more than a year. "You can get a studio for 0 then you're lucky, but then they say how many are you? SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KGTV) -- A fishing shop in Kearny Mesa was burglarized early Sunday morning. The break-in was caught on the San Diego Tackle Traders' surveillance cameras just before 4:30 a.m. The video shows two suspects, wearing masks and gloves, getting into the shop using a crowbar. The two people can be seen walking into the business, on Convoy Court, with a cooler and some type of container, heading towards the back of the shop. The owners of San Diego Tackle Traders say the suspects got away with several fishing reels and rods, a total value of ,000 to 0,00. The owners tell 10News this is a big blow to their small business. They say they work by appointment only and don't advertise their address online because of the value of the items they sell. The owners are now hoping people will keep an eye out for anyone trying to sell brand new fishing equipment. Anyone with information is asked to call the San Diego Police Department. 964
