I mean, it’s really sick.”O’Donnell says it’s not likely this has anything to do with security camera system, but rather how the owner sets them up. “People who are just using the basic default settings or doing no password because the convenience of wanting to get in there to change their settings, are leaving themselves open for people to come in from the outside,” the tech expert says.Hackers often reuse stolen or leaked credentials. They could get the info from past data breaches that expose usernames and passwords that people use on multiple devices.O’Donnell says people should change their security camera passwords regularly and set up two-factor authentication.“Basically, it means the equivalent of like a fingerprint scan and a password or a hardware key and a password, or a facial scan and a fingerprint,” O’Donnell says. “Bottom line is it’s two different things you need to get into to access your account.”O’Donnell says the bottom line is security cameras do bring peace of mind and convenience when they’re managed properly. 1433

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin informed Congress early Wednesday evening that his department would be unable to comply with House Democrats' deadline for President Donald Trump's tax returns.In a letter Wednesday to House Ways and Means Chairman Richard Neal, Mnuchin said that "the Treasury Department will not be able to complete its review" by the April 10 deadline Democrats had given Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Charles Rettig to turn over six years of Trump's personal and business tax returns.Highlighting what he called the "unprecedented nature of this request," Mnuchin said that he would be overseeing the Treasury's handling of the request and that the Department of Justice was being consulted "to ensure that our response is fully consistent with the law and Constitution.""The Committee's request raises serious issues concerning the constitutional scope of Congressional investigative authority, the legitimacy of the asserted legislative purpose, and the constitutional rights of American citizens," he added.A week after Neal made 1074

This week is the end of an era at the Warren Tech Center in Michigan. A man who has worked there for more than 67 years will say goodbye to co-workers as he retires. The UAW says Elmer Zurakowski is the highest seniority hourly employee in the all of General Motors. Mr. Zurakowski stopped at his local UAW hall before coming in to work on Wednesday. There they showed him a plaque made for him by his co-workers celebrating a more than 67-year-long career. “Well I started working when I was 18-years-old. I became a die maker apprentice. This was at Plant 23 in Detroit,” recalled Zurakowski. It was 1951. He remembers as he started the job seeing workers building tanks for the Korean War. He was ready to learn. “When I started the apprenticeship I wanted to go into the wood field. They said according to your tests it shows you would be better working with metal than wood. I didn’t know anything about metal, but growing up on a farm I used wood all the time. What they did, I think, they needed more die makers than wood pattern makers. But I went along with that and I was very happy with it,” said Zurakowski. The work at General Motors supported his family. He and his wife had a son and three daughters. He says he is going to miss seeing his co-workers everyday. “We have interesting people. There are natural teachers in there. It is an interesting place to work,” said Zurakowski. Notably Mr. Zurakowski is a member of Mensa International, the high IQ society. He says his long career was rewarding because he chose to find purpose in each days accomplishments. “If you don’t get your pleasure out of your work, you are never going to know what pleasure is. If you think you are not having fun, start thinking differently,” he said. In his retirement he is looking forward to focusing on his woodworking hobby and spending time with family. 1868

The Seattle Police Department said that one person was killed and seven others were injured in a shooting Wednesday night in downtown Seattle. The incident took place in a busy section of Seattle, as multiple shopping venues are within a block of where there shooting was reported. Seattle Police originally said that a total of six people were shot, but local hospitals reported to police that two additional people arrived at the hospital on their own. Police said that a 50-year-old woman was in critical condition and a 9-year-old was in "satisfactory" condition. A 32-year-old man also remains hospitalized in "satisfactory" condition.Four other men were hospitalized but were treated and released by Wednesday morning. Seattle Police said that a suspect or suspects are still at large. It has not given a description of any suspects. The 856
