Zuckerberg said Congress “should update the law to make sure it’s working as intended.”“We don’t think tech companies should be making so many decisions about these important issues alone,” he said, approving an active role for government regulators.Dorsey and Pichai, however, urged caution in making any changes. “Undermining Section 230 will result in far more removal of online speech and impose severe limitations on our collective ability to address harmful content and protect people online,” Dorsey said.Pichai urged lawmakers “to be very thoughtful about any changes to Section 230 and to be very aware of the consequences those changes might have on businesses and consumers.”Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd told congressional leaders in a letter Tuesday that recent events have made the changes more urgent. The doors to Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke's office are getting a nearly 9,000 upgrade.The Interior Department confirmed the project Thursday, saying it is both necessary to replace old doors that are in "disrepair" and attributing the high cost to the historical nature of the building.News of the 8,670 contract comes as several agencies are facing scrutiny over excessive spending. Last month, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson withdrew an order for pricey dining room furniture, including a ,000 table. Zinke is also under fire for questionable travel habits.Zinke was unaware of the expense for the doors, Interior spokeswoman Heather Swift said, saying the project was driven by "career facilities and security officials" as part of a decade-long modernization of the 1930s building."The secretary was not aware of this contract but agrees that this is a lot of money for demo, install, materials, and labor," Swift said in a statement. "Between regulations that require historic preservation and outdated government procurement rules, the costs for everything from pencils to printing to doors is astronomical. The Girl Scouts of the USA revealed on Tuesday that a French-toast inspired cookie is coming in 2021.In a press release, the organization said the "Toast-Yay!" cookie, which is "dipped in delicious icing and full of flavor in every bite," will be available in select areas sometime next year.In March, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the organization switched to online sales.According to the release, the 2021 cookie season will again turn to sell cookies online and through "virtual cookie booths" on social media."Many girls will offer socially distant or contactless sales and delivery options," the Girl Scouts said in the release.
