NATIONAL CITY, Calif., (KGTV) -- National City Police needs your help in locating a missing man. 35-year-old Melvin Ray Lachica was last seen at the Aloha Village Apartments on East 9th and Palm Avenue in National City on August 13, 2019. The Marine Veteran is 5'6'' tall, about 170 lbs, and has a skin-colored old scar on his forehead. Lachica's family says he suffers from PTSD. Family and fellow former Marines searched for Lachica in the Mission Trails area Saturday, hoping to locate him there. However, they did not find him. NASA has unveiled its billion plan to send the first woman to the moon.On Monday, the agency said they hope to have a woman and man land on the moon in 2024.“With bipartisan support from Congress, our 21st-century push to the Moon is well within America’s reach,” said NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine in the press release. “As we’ve solidified more of our exploration plans in recent months, we’ve continued to refine our budget and architecture. NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (KGTV) -- A family in National City says Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) violated their rights during an arrest on Tuesday morning.  Brianna Alonso says her husband was heading to work when he saw ICE agents and ran back into his house. A spokesperson for ICE tells 10News 31-year-old Alberto Alonso-Hernandez is wanted for illegally re-entering the country 16 times since 2013 and for a domestic violence conviction in 2014.His wife disputes ICE's numbers. She says her husband was deported twice before Tuesday's arrest. She's upset because she says ICE agents never showed them a warrant before entering. Brianna says the agents gave her the warrant after her husband was in custody. However, according to a criminal attorney, ICE was just doing their job. Exercising the "no-knock" rule, where the officers do not have to show the warrant if they have probable cause that the suspect will get away or destroy possible evidence. ICE sent us the following statements regarding Tuesday's arrest:  1082

NATIONAL CITY, Cali. — A California woman is heartbroken after she was forced to leave her beloved fish at Denver International Airport.It was supposed to be a happy homecoming for Lanice Powless and her best friend."I've taken him everywhere with me," she said.But Wednesday, the University of Colorado sophomore left Denver without "Cassie," her pink, male beta fish."This lady was just not having it," Powless said. "So the supervisor comes and she said 'Unfortunately, you cannot bring fish onto Southwest Airlines."Her freshman year in Colorado, Powless admitted she was lonely and wanted a pet. She considered getting a dog or cat but her mother convinced her that a fish would be a better fit. NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (KGTV) -- A mother of three shown in a video being detained by Customs and Border Protection agents was released Tuesday on her own recognizance.Shortly after 9 p.m. Perla Morales-Luna and her daughters shared a tearful reunion. A judge said that Morales-Luna, 36, isn’t a danger to society or a flight risk. During the family's reunion, she did say "Thank you" to the press but had no further comment. The video showing Luna’s detention made rounds on social media earlier in March.
