(KGTV) - An art gallery in Solana Beach is taking drastic measures to try and survive the coronavirus pandemic.Exclusive Collections is holding it's first ever sale on fine art, offering paintings and more for as much as 50% off."You know art doesn't really go on sale," says owner Ruth-Ann Thorn. "But here we are in this time where you have to do what you have to do to keep the doors open."Thorn has been collecting art for 25 years, often buying pieces from artists who hold shows in her gallery. While her shop was closed during the Pademic, she made the difficult decision to go through her warehouse and see what she could sell."I got very emotional, and I almost broke down," Thorn says. "We needed to make some very serious decisions on how we're going to keep the doors open. And it requires a sacrifice to let go of these things."Thorn says her sale offers even non-collectors a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase an investment piece. SPRING VALLEY (KGTV) - San Diego County Sheriff's Department deputies are investigating a Spring Valley stabbing that left one man dead and a woman injured.Deputies responded to calls about a stabbing just before midnight Friday at an apartment complex at 3560 James Circle, said Lt. Thomas Seiver of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.First responders rushed a man to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival, Seiver said. The ticket is also the single most valuable lottery ticket in US history. "We have not heard that the winner in South Carolina has come forward," Mega Millions administrator Seth Elkin told ABC News. The winner has 180 days to claim the prize. That means the winning ticket does not have to be claimed until April. If no winner comes forward, each participating state in the Mega Millions game will get back all the money that state contributed to the unclaimed jackpot, the lottery says on its website. The amount of money that goes unclaimed in state lottery programs is quite staggering. SOLON, Ohio — An Ohio police department is warning of a Netflix email phishing scam that is asking people to update their payment details after one of their officers, who doesn't even have a Netflix account, received the email.The city of Solon, Ohio Police Department put out the warning, saying criminals want you to click the links so that you voluntarily give out your personal information. The links also could install malware on your computer.In a photo, the very real-looking email it asks users to update their payment details, saying the account is on hold."Hi Dear, We're having some trouble with your current billing information. We'll try again, but in the meantime you may want to update your payment details," the email reads, with a link to update the account.Netflix said if you believe you have received a fraudulent email appearing to be from the company, never enter your details, never click on any links and do not reply to it.
