SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - An autopsy performed on the teenager known as McSkillet is providing details about his mental state before he crashed his McLaren on Interstate 805 in San Diego, killing a mother and daughter.Trevor Heitmann, 18, died on August 23 when he drove the wrong way on the freeway in University City at 100 miles an hour. Heitmann’s sports car crashed into an SUV, killing Aileen Pizarro, 43, and her 12-year-old daughter Aryana. The California Highway Patrol reported that video of the impact shows Heitmann did not attempt to swerve before hitting the SUV.The San Diego County Medical Examiner said Heitmann suffered 11 types of blunt force injuries in the crash. Toxicology tests did not detect any alcohol or common drugs, doctors said. Heitmann's death was ruled accidental by officials. (Official report here.)RELATED: Popular YouTuber identified in wrong-way crash that killed mother and daughterHeitmann had no medical or surgical history, was not known to use tobacco, illegal drugs, or alcohol, and had no history of depression or diagnosis of mental illness, medical examiners reported. He did not leave behind a suicide note.Five days before the crash, Heitmann’s behavior changed, his parents said to the Medical Examiner’s Office. He told his parents he thought he was having a “meltdown”. His behavior suggested mania, officials reported. The CHP said Heitmann's vehicle was linked to an incident at Ashley Falls Elementary School in Carmel Valley before the crash, in which several students said the driver of a sports car drove through a fence. Del Mar Union School District said the driver got out of the car and broke a window, though no classes were in session.RELATED: Neighbor: Police called to YouTuber's home on day of deadly crashHeitmann told his mother he had driven his McLaren 150 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone going the wrong direction, according to the autopsy report. Heitmann’s father asked him what he thought would happen if police caught him and Heitmann said that “neither the police nor their bullets could hurt him,” the report indicated. The day of the crash, Heitmann's parents contacted San Diego Police to request a psychiatric evaluation but were told it could not be performed because Heitmann had not broken any laws, medical examiners reported.Heitmann also cried and said he was having a "breakdown" the morning of the crash before sleeping for four hours. When he woke up, he was behaving irrationally, his parents told the Medical Examiner’s Office.RELATED: Son remembers mother, sister killed in I-805 crashHeitmann’s McLaren was blocked by his father’s vehicle, which he rammed to get out of the driveway and leave their Carmel Valley home. Heitmann’s father later contacted the California Highway Patrol to find his son before learning of the crash.Heitmann was known as McSkillet in the video game community and had a successful YouTube channel. One of the videos on McSkillet's page shows off a black McLaren and talks about how his earnings as a YouTube and Counter-Strike "Steam" content producer helped pay for the luxury sports car.Heitmann's popularity surrounded his trading and collection of rare video game content, called "skins," which are pieces of content for Counter-Strike players. He was banned earlier this year from trading skins with other players by the video game's developer, Valve. The "trade ban" cut him off from his collection, believed to be valued at anywhere from 0,000 to 0,000 at the time, and created an issue with his ability to continue producing sponsored videos.RELATED: How YouTuber in I-805 crash made fortune in gaming videosHeitmann’s parents issued a statement which read in part, “We express our deepest condolences to the Pizarro family and anyone impacted by this incident.”Aileen Pizarro, a therapist, left behind two sons to mourn their mother and little sister."Both of them were the most caring...people full of life, you've ever met in the world," Dominic Pizarro said. A GoFundMe account for the Pizarro family raised more than ,000, well above its ,000 goal. 4189

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A woman was killed and her young son was taken to the hospital Friday morning following a two-car crash on a Mira Mesa street.Late Friday night, friends at a vigil for the young mother confirmed to 10News that her name is Judy. A photo of Judy left at the vigil is attached to this article. The collision in the 7200 block of Calle Cristobal was reported just after 7 a.m., according to San Diego police.“It’s not very safe at all.” Neighbor, Lara Janda had been saying this for years, about her own driveway at Canyon Park Villas in Mira Mesa. “There are so many accidents that we have seen, heard, or we’ve almost been in a few,” Janda said. Then, on Friday morning, she saw what she had feared for years.Through the heavy fog, she found her neighbor’s car, crunched into another. The cars were mangled. There was glass everywhere. “There was no movement or anyone coming out of the vehicle,” Janda said, of her neighbor’s white Acura Legend.Police said the victim pulled out of the driveway of an apartment complex and was traveling southbound when a collision occurred with a Honda Accord traveling westbound on Calle Cristobal. The 27-year-old woman died at the scene, and police said the woman’s 4-year-old boy sustained a broken pelvis, broken ribs, a fractured skull and broken right knee. The child’s injuries are considered life-threatening. He was transported to Scripps La Jolla, then to Rady’s Children’s Hospital for treatment.Police said the boy was in a child safety seat at the time of the crash.Janda said she is saddened by what she knew was eventually going to happen. She said she reported the dangerous intersection to traffic police at least four times in the last two years, but saw no change. She believed what made it so awful this morning, was the combination of the fog, the speeding drivers, and the blind intersection.“We have high foliage here, and this large pole here, so it’s very difficult to see who is coming around this corner,“ Janda said, pointing at the road. For one family, Good Friday has become the worst day of their lives. And a neighborhood is now shaken up, hoping an accident like this, will never happen again. 2229

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- An Ocean Beach woman was alarmed by a flier taped to her door saying "the antichrist will destroy anyone who worships him." Holly Raines said her 7-year-old son found the flier taped on their front door. “I started reading the letter but I was like half asleep so I started panicking a little bit because it just seemed very threatening and very intense,” Raines said. Several other neighbors say they got one too. The letter stated it was from New Life Christian Chapel, which is a few blocks away from where Raines lives in Ocean Beach. “It was very damning and then it has like a phrase that says ‘The antichrist will destroy anyone who worships him, there is no middle ground,’” she said. Raines said the flier quotes several Bible verses but found them far from comforting. “The words just aren’t very friendly, they talk about slaying lambs and antichrist and unrighteousness,” Raines said. It ended by inviting her to a home Bible study but she can't help but feel like the church crossed a line. “We have a lot of friends that go to church around here and a lot of the community churches here are awesome, they do great things,” Raines said. “The idea of taping anything on somebody’s door is a lot and this is a full document of typing. I mean if anyone wrote me a letter like that I would think it was an angry letter.”10News reached out to New Life Christian Chapel, and Pastor Thomas J. McNearny told 10News in an e-mail:"My purpose in distributing the flyers was simply to get the Word of God out to the public. I get no perverse pleasure in scaring people but simply want the best for people by helping inform them of what God's will for them is and how Jesus Christ has made a wonderful salvation available for them. The apostle Paul did say that: 'Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men. ..' Judgment is coming but there is a way to be ready. We love people and want to welcome them to come and find peace with God." 2023
