SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 16-year-old girl and 11 women were recovered during a two-day human trafficking operation in San Diego County that also resulted in the arrests of five men and a woman on a variety of charges, authorities announced."Operation Home for the Holidays" was conducted Monday and Tuesday and aimed at recovering juvenile victims and involved detectives from the San Diego County Sheriff's Department working undercover as sex buyers looking for online ads of suspected juveniles, according to a statement from the department.Child Welfare Services and a juvenile advocate assisted with the recovery of the teenager and the women were offered resources, the statement said.Deputies arrested five men for suspected prostitution-related violations, including one who was in possession of a gun at the time of his arrest. A woman was arrested for trafficking of a minor, the department said. It was unclear if the minor recovered was the one being trafficked by the woman."I'm proud of the great work being done by the San Diego County Human Trafficking Task Force," Sheriff Bill Gore said. It will be an off year… which is what we did after Avengers 1 and what we’ve done every few years," Feige said. "There will be a tenth-anniversary presence at Comic-Con but [no Hall H panel.]"Marvel has traditionally booked a Hall H slot on Saturday night of Comic-Con to make major announcements, tease upcoming movies, and deliver special experiences to fans. Samuel and Ronan Peterson will have an interesting story to tell for the rest of their lives, thanks to Daylight Saving Time.The infant twins — born overnight on Nov. 6, 2016 — have a strange twist to their ages because of the time change.According to Cape Cod Healthcare in Massachusetts, Ronan is the older twin despite being born 31 minutes after Samuel.How does that work?According to hospital officials, Samuel was born at 1:39 a.m. Eastern and when his twin Ronan was born 31 minutes later, the clock had reset to 1:10 a.m., instead of being 2:10 a.m., because Daylight Saving Time had come to an end.So, despite technically being 31 minutes younger, Ronan's official time of birth is listed as 29 minutes earlier than Samuel's.One of the hospital's maternity nurses, who has 40 years on the job, said she'd never seen anything like it.Seth Peterson, the boys' father, figured something strange was going to happen due to his wife Emily giving birth on the night of Daylight Saving Time's end."I said earlier that night that they were either going to be born on two different days or the time change was going to come into play," he said, according to Cape Cod Healthcare.Clint Davis is a reporter for the Scripps National Desk. SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Marine Corps says one of its fighter jets collided in mid-air with another plane during a refueling operation in a remote desert area of Southern California.The pilot ejected and the other aircraft landed safely.Authorities say the F-35B jet collided with a Lockheed Martin KC-130J tanker around 4 p.m. Tuesday. The pilot who ejected is being treated, and nobody aboard the tanker was hurt.The jet crashed near the Salton Sea, northeast of San Diego.The big tanker landed in Thermal in neighboring Riverside County.Photos from the scene show the plane on its belly in a farm field. 610
