Well, according to a new survey by the Pew Research Center, roughly half of U.S. adults who use YouTube say it’s helped them learn to do new things. And those behind popular how-to videos are making big bucks.For Greg Wickherst, he began his channel to help other dads struggling just like him.   "When I got custody of my daughter, I didn't know how to do her hair,” he says. “I couldn't even do a ponytail, and I didn't want to have her going to school looking like a ragamuffin."  Wickherst’s first few videos went viral and he quickly became known as “The Hair Dad.”But it's not just hair tutorials, YouTube is the go-to platform for people to learn how to do stuff. If you are filing for divorce, it could take much longer than you think. There is a backlog in family court of about four months, according to the Court Executive Officer, Michael Roddy.  Sherman McEachern found that out as he was going through his divorce process. He and his soon to be ex-wife filed for divorce in October. McEachern said it should have been finalized in April. When he tried to find out why divorce documents were not mailed back to him yet, he learned it was going to take much longer. “I called the clerk’s office. That was the first time, I realized they were telling me we’re eight to ten months behind,” McEachern said.  It’s affecting him both personally and financially. “I can’t change health insurance until I have the signed divorce decree. She doesn’t want to use my health insurance because we’re separated, getting a divorce, so I’m paying for coverage no one’s using,” McEachern said. “We’re hearing a lot of complaints from people,” Roddy said. “They want to get divorced.” Roddy said this fiscal year, they’ve had to make million in budget cuts on top of a million deficit.  “That’s a million dollar hit to the court. We lost about 100 employees and we had a hiring freeze,” Roddy said.  In small claims court, Roddy said it takes about a year to set your case for trial.  When asked who is at fault for the backlog, Roddy said it started with the recession. “The recession hit California very hard, hit the courts very hard, and we have not bounced back to that level,” Roddy said. “It’s just very frustrating because every day, I’m still being tied to a marriage that we both have left from,” McEachern said. He added that it is “disheartening” that people pay for a process and the service isn’t being delivered. Roddy said they are hoping for more money in this next fiscal year, which they can use for personnel. HUNTINGTON BEACH (CNS) - A 60-year-old Huntington Beach woman who went missing while walking her dog in the Bristlecone Pine Forest in Inyo County was found alive Monday on the fourth day of an intensive search.Inyo County sheriff's officials announced shortly after 2 p.m. that Sheryl Powell had been found near the Montenegro Springs area, near the area where her dog had been found earlier in the day.``Searchers describe her as resilient and strong but exhausted after being lost in an extremely remove area above Big Pine,'' according to the sheriff's office.She was being taken to a hospital to be checked out. Powell was reported missing by her husband at about 2 p.m. Friday, Inyo County sheriff's officials said.Powell's husband told deputies they had just arrived at a campsite and she took their 5-pound, black-and-white dog for a walk while he was parking their Jeep. When he got out of the vehicle, she was nowhere to be found, officials said.Powell's husband told deputies he searched for almost an hour before contacting authorities, officials said.A California Highway Patrol helicopter with a thermal imaging device flew over the area and the Inyo County sheriff Search and Rescue team began searching immediately, sheriff's officials said.The air and ground search continued over the weekend, officials said. 1334
