Forget the shirt and shoes; no service for people on horseback at Starbucks in Anthem, Arizona. A Valley girl is frustrated after trying to ride her horse through the drive-thru when the barista said nay. Aspen Cline had seen internet videos of others riding their horses through the Starbucks drive-thru and decided that's what she wanted to do for her birthday. Instead, she and her horse, Scout, were shut down by the barista who apparently wasn't into horsing around. "We weren't given a reason, just, "we can't take your order," said Aspen. "My friend and I were going to get frappuccinos for us and a cup of whipped cream for the horses." A Starbucks spokesperson told us, officially, their drive-through is for cars only. He said that policy is for animal, rider and employee safety. But, he also added that the horses caught the barista off guard and with a little-advanced notice next time they'll find a way to serve all creatures."We support Starbucks because they're very accepting," said Tandy Cline, Aspen's mom. For the first time in its 30 year history, Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and Hollywood have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.The park posted the news on the Universal Orlando website. "Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have made the difficult decision to not hold Halloween Horror Nights events this year," officials said in the statement. "Universal Orlando Resort will be focusing exclusively on operating its theme parks for daytime guests, using the enhanced health and safety procedures already in place. Universal Studios Hollywood continues to face ongoing business restrictions and uncertainty around its opening timeframe. We know this decision will disappoint our fans and guests. We are disappointed, too. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, a company is ready to launch a perfume that claims to smell like space.The project to launch Eau de Space has received more than ,000 in contributions from across the country.According to the Kickstarter campaign, NASA designed the fragrance years ago to help astronauts train for outer space. For the first time, we are hearing from the accused Antioch church shooter. Emanuel Samson is charged with killing one and injuring six others.He's locked up, but makes calls from his cell and all of them are recorded. Nashville-based WTVF obtained an exclusive copy of those recorded calls.They provide a first look at the mindset of an accused murderer.The 25-year-old Samson is being held in the Davidson County Jail. He's said very little to police, but Samson does plenty of talking by phone."This honestly reminds me of our childhood, you know. You're locked in a room or a house. You're locked in a room. You're locked in your house," said Samson in one call, describing jail life.Samson's now spent the past month in the county jail – held without bond – and in this call he seems to be settling in."You know it's about meditating on the fact that I literally can't afford not to be strong. Period. By any means necessary," said Samson.He's made more than 140 calls in the past month, mostly collect to friends and family. It seems he's been warned by his attorney not to talk about his case, though he may at times, speaking in what sounds like his native Sudanese language.However, we did not hear Samson discuss the murder of Melanie Crow Smith or the other felony charges to come.
