(KGTV) -- Thursday afternoon, police chased a suspect through San Diego County they say stole a vehicle from National City. During the pursuit, police used spikes, which shredded tires on the truck. After the truck came to a stop in Encanto, police could be seen shooting pepper balls into the truck. The suspect emerged from the vehicle a few moments later when a police K9 could be seen attacking the suspect before he was placed in handcuffs and taken into custody. Police say a Pit Bull was found in the back seat of the truck. At this time, authorities say it's unclear whether the dog belongs to the suspect or the person the truck was stolen from. 10News was live throughout the chase. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police has released body camera video from Officer Michael Sipos, one of the six officers who helped evacuate families ahead of the Christmas morning bombing.Sipos was issued a body camera just days before the explosion.The video shows actions both before and after the blast. The explosion happens around the 3:51 mark in the video below.Officer Sipos said in a press conference on Sunday that when they arrived, they didn't really notice the RV, and parked just across from it. That was before the RV began broadcasting a message that it contained a bomb and for people to evacuate the area.You can see the RV in the video around the 1:57 mark, and hear the RV's broadcast through much of the first few minutes of the video provided by Metro police.Sipos and his fellow officers began to work at knocking on doors, evacuating families ahead of the blast. Sipos says they got in contact with about six or seven families.Sipos returned to his patrol car and was getting equipment out of the trunk when it exploded.Much of the video shows Sipos and other MNPD officers returning to Second Avenue N. heavily damaged and on fire. NATIONAL CITY (KGTV/CNS) - A fire forced more than a dozen residents of an independent living facility in the South Bay to evacuate their home Tuesday.The fire broke out before 9 a.m. on Haring Ave., National City firefighters said. The evacuees lived in the main home and two attached granny flats. 307

Millions of small, black cerith snails cover one area of Fort De Soto Beach, Florida, stunning wildlife lovers. The shellfish, known as cerith snails, cover nearly the entire length of the beach. Robert Neff snapped several pictures of the bizarre event. “I grew up in Florida and I’ve never seen anything like this. It was amazing to see,” he said.What makes this so odd is Cerith snails don’t typically wash up onto land. They’re usually along the bottom of the ocean in flat reefs or hiding in coral reefs where the temperature is warm. The snails are in an area off the south end of the parking lot at Fort DeSoto’s North beach, which borders the bird sanctuary. Neff said the low tide exposed the snails over the weekend, and many are still at the beach. His photographs, along with video taken by Mark Freels of See Through Adventures, have been widely shared across social media. One former research assistant from the Georgia Sea Turtle Center said it's possible the snails came to the shallow waters because they found food, which was washed up by recent hurricanes, on the beach. Freels said it was a very strange and magnificent sight.“My job is to take people on kayak adventures and you never know what you’ll find.
