Coca-Cola said Friday that it would offer buyouts to 4,000 employees as part of corporate restructuring and said that layoffs could be coming in the future.According to a press release, the buyouts will be offered to employees in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico with a hire date "on or before" Sept. 1, 2017. CONIFER, Colo. – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is warning people about leaving their cars unlocked after several incidents, including one caught on video, in which bears have gotten into vehicles.The sheriff’s office posted video on Facebook that showed deputies using a rope to open a car door in Conifer on Monday. A black bear then exits the car and runs off.The deputy recording the scene then shows the interior of the car, which was torn to shreds. The bear also left behind a half-eaten banana.The sheriff’s office said no humans or bears were hurt.  583

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A 50-year-old woman stabbed a victim in the face with a grill fork so hard it became embedded, according to court documents.Shawn Jones is scheduled to appear in court Monday to face a felonious assault charge. The incident happened Saturday at Jones’ home near Cincinnati, according to Colerain Township police officer Kyle Frandoni.The fork tines were approximately 2 inches long, Frandoni wrote in his affidavit.Jones was arrested Sunday and is being held at the Justice Center. 555

Citigroup has terminated a manager following an investigation into his role operating a prominent website dedicated to QAnon conspiracy theory, according to Bloomberg.Jason Gelinas was placed on paid leave in mid-September after he was identified by Logically.ai as the operator of QMap.pub and it’s affiliated apps.“Mr. Gelinas is no longer employed by Citi,” the company said in a statement to Bloomberg. “Our code of conduct includes specific policies that employees are required to adhere to, and when breaches are identified, the firm takes action.”Gelinas was a manager in Citigroup;s technology department. The company says employees have to disclose outside business activity where they receive compensation.Gelinas was reportedly earning about ,000 a month from a crowdfunding site supporting the QAnon site he ran. He says the money helped cover the monthly operating costs.QMap once drew a reported 10 million visitors a month over the summer. Once Gelinas was identified, the site was taken down.QAnon began a few years ago as a single conspiracy theory. CINCINNATI, Ohio — A settlement has been reached after a police officer used a Taser on an 11-year-old girl while working an off-duty detail at a Kroger in Southwest Ohio.The City of Cincinnati and Kroger have agreed to pay the family of Donesha Gowdy 0,000 to settle the claim of excessive force, according to a news release from family attorney Al Gerhardstein.Donesha had been shoplifting from the Kroger on Aug. 6 when Officer Kevin Brown, who was on security duty, ordered her to stop. She didn't. The officer fired his Taser as she walked away. One probe struck her at the base of her spine; the other hit between her shoulder blades.The incident prompted an apology from Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley and a promise from Vice Mayor Christopher Smitherman to review Cincinnati Police Department’s protocol on Tasers.Cincinnati Police Chief Eliot K. Isaac promised “a very thorough review” of Brown's actions, as well as the department’s use-of-force policies as they pertain to juvenile suspects.
