WASHINGTON, D.C. – What police reform proposals will get the endorsement of President Donald Trump and Senate Republicans? While House Democrats have already announced what legislation they are seeking, Republicans in the Senate, as well as the White House, have been more mum. That is expected to change this week.Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) is working with the White House on what ideas the president could support. Scott is the only African American senator in the Republican caucus.White House officials hinted the president would likely provide more guidance on what he supports and what he doesn't when he travels to Dallas, Texas, on Thursday.CNN reported Wednesday that the president is considering an executive order on police reform, which would not require Congress' approval.“We’re still wrestling with America’s original sin,” said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, referring to slavery, when he spoke with reporters Tuesday.“We try to get better but every now and then it’s perfectly clear we’re a long way from the finish line,” said McConnell. 1065

WEEKI WACHEE, Fla. — Searing pain and immediate swelling were the first signs that 6-year-old Kyden Debyah needed immediate medical attention. While playing in his backyard Monday morning, Kyden said he felt what he thought was a bee sting his right foot near his big toe. Then his mom saw a snake coiled up underneath the tire swing Kyden was about to get on.“I heard him scream 'My leg, my leg,'” Amber Debyah said. Debyah called 911 and grabbed a rake to kill the snake. By the time she came back she said she knew it was bad.“His foot was double the size. It was really hot, red,” Debyah said.First responders told her to try and get the snake so they could identify it and figure out what type of antivenin he needed. First responders brought the dead snake to the emergency room and doctors began administering antivenin for a pygmy rattlesnake bite. In all, Kyden got 18 vials before the swelling subsided and his symptoms started to go away.  The entire time Debyah worried if her son would lose his leg or worse.“I really feel he got lucky after reading other people's stories,” Debyah said. “I feel like if it would have bit him fully with both fangs, it would’ve been a lot worse.”Only one fang injected venom into Kyden’s body. “He was in great spirits the whole time. He was laughing and joking I mean other than the pain in his foot he had no symptoms, no fever, no vomiting. Normal Kyden, except for the pain,” Debyah said.  Kyden might have a low-grade fever, sore joints, rashes, but nothing that will cause permanent damage, Debyah said. Each vial of antivenin costs around ,000. The family has insurance but it does not cover snake bites. The insurance company said their contracted cost for the antivenin will be adjusted but could be anywhere from ,000 to ,000.Kyden is still allowed to play in the backyard, with one new rule, he keeps his boots on at all times.“So grateful", Kyle Debyah, Kyden’s dad said. “You want to try and be strong and focused to better assess everything but I was worried.”The family set up a Gofundme if you would like to help them cover the cost of the antivenin. We all know exercise is great for your health, but a new study shows that there is one type of exercise that will improve your mental health the most. A new study by the Journal of Lancet Psychiatry found that group fitness classes helps with your overall mental health, more than solo exercises.  Thomas Obershaw not only takes group fitness classes, but he also teaches them. He goes to Transform Colorado to take their Lagree Fitness classes. He not only gets a killer workout in, but he says a group setting gives him the motivation to put in the hard work. "I love group fitness so much, because I do believe there is power in numbers," says Obershaw.Life can be stressful. Work can get in the way of a lot of things, including spending time with people. That's one of the reasons Obershaw loves to workout with others, because he doesn't want to feel isolated. "When you show up to a group fitness class, and you see everyone around you struggling, you don't feel alone," says Obershaw. The recent study also found those who exercise between 30 to 60 minutes a day have the best mental health. "When you show up and get to release all this stress and strife of everyday life, that's in your head, this monkey brain you have all day," says Obershaw. "When you get to forget about that for 45 minutes, it does something to you chemically and physically." The study also found those who participated in group activities had one less poor mental health day a month and felt a 43 percent improvement mentally. If you're looking to get the most out of your group exercise, team sports were rated number one for having the most mental health benefits. Another, popular group fitness class is cycling. They say the high intensity cardio mixed with motivation also gave great results. "It's easy to stay in bed, lay in bed, but exercise releases endorphins," Obershaw says. "It's science; when you release those endorphins that's great for your mind and it's great for your psyche." Whether you enjoy group fitness or not, it is scientifically proven the more you exercise, the greater the benefit.  2203
