(KGTV) - Artificial intelligence may be able to perceive sexual orientation in faces better than the human brain, according to a Stanford University study.Dr. Michal Kosinski and Yilun Wang used deep neural networks to analyze more than 35,000 facial images.The programs correctly distinguished between homosexual and heterosexual men in 81% of cases, and in 74% of cases for women, researchers said.Accuracy improved when artificial intelligence analyzed five images, including grooming styles, according to the study.Researchers found lower accuracy rates for human judges asked to interpret sexuality through facial images: 51% for men and 54% for women.The researchers suggested the findings of the study posed a threat to the privacy and safety of gay men and women.GLAAD and the Human Rights Campaign denounced the study, saying it made inaccurate assumptions.“Technology cannot identify someone’s sexual orientation. And while it says it's for ladders to get over the wall, it's not in the literal sense.Instead, the campaign says it intends to donate the money raised to legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees though the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES), a Texas-based nonprofit."We saw some folks are raising money for a border wall to keep out our migrant siblings and fellow human beings, who are fleeing violence and persecution and whose tragically-underpaid labor is essential to the U.S. economy. Seems like a bad idea on countless levels for everyone involved," the campaign writes. (CNN) -- It was an impressive disguise: the snow-white beard, the oversized glasses, the wheelchair.But it was when the seemingly frail and elderly passenger reached security at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport -- India's busiest airport -- that he caught the attention of staff.At around 10.45 p.m. on the evening of September 8, the individual was hoping to get on an overnight flight to New York."He posed as if he was very old and incapacitated," Shrikant Kishore, a senior official with the Central Industrial Security Force, told CNN.Dressed in a white tunic and trousers, with a white turban and black slippers, the passenger proved reluctant to be frisked."Our screener asked the person in the wheelchair to stand. He said that he cannot stand. Our screener asked if he would stand with support. He reluctantly stood up."That's when the officer noticed that while the passenger's beard and hair were white, the roots were black.
